DXSW

EMERGENCE presented two groundbreaking showcases at the 2010 South By Southwest music festival in Austin: DXSW (Detroit Hip-Hop showcase) and The Revival: SXSW (Women in Hip-Hop showcase). Curated by Invincible, who performed at both events, these showcases built unity and a stronger spirit of cooperation within the music movements in which Emergence is rooted.

DXSW featured a dozen of Detroit Hip-Hop's finest, headlined by the legendary Slum Village, in their first ever SXSW appearance. Black Milk will performed along with live musicians AB and Daru. J Dilla's younger brother Illa J hosted the event along with Marv Won, with musical interludes provided by House Shoes and 14KT.

The full line-up included: Slum Village, Black Milk, Finale, Invincible, Monica Blaire, Vaughan T feat. Crown Royale, Miz Korona, Marv Won, Ro Spit, Mae Day, Now On, Houseshoes, 14KT
